i was very pleased that I selected Service America Air and Heat to troubleshoot and have them repair/replace my central air conditioning system. They were absolutely professional, quick and efficient. My new upgraded unit was installed in a timely fashion by knowledgeable and courteous technicians. I wasn't burdened by any administrative requirements. It was a true pleasure and I would recommend them to everyone.

In the one month I've been living in my apartment I've had to call them out for two different issues. The first time was for the refrigerator which wasn't cooling properly. We got an appointment for two days later, which wasn't bad, but their service window is literally all day (9-5pm), which means unless you work nearby, you're taking a whole day off from work for something that could potentially take very little time. Not too crazy about that part. The refrigerator thing required two separate visits: the first tech vacuumed out a bunch of dust from the bottom of the fridge and he said that was probably the issue. It was not. When we called back, the next appointment was a week out. I can't imagine going a week without your air conditioning or your refrigerator! Anyway, a lady tech named Treasa (2689) came out, she checked the temperatures in the fridge and freezer and determined the freezer was off by 10 degrees (don't recall the first guy doing that), then she checked the freon level and found it low (first guy definitely didn't do that). She topped it off and readjusted a connection where the freon goes, which was kind of loose and might have been the source of the leak (again, first guy didn't do that). So Treasa saved the day (and my food), and she was really pleasant and professional to work with. Yesterday we had an a/c tech come out because our thermostat seemed to be malfunctioning. Antoine (3425261) came out and what at first seemed like an easy fix, turned out to be a long, complex series of issues requiring new parts that he didn't have on him, rewiring, etc. There was a part he needed to order but he didn't want to leave us in the middle of August without working a/c, so we watched him try to find a workaround with the equipment in his truck, but in the end he got a manager to come out with the right part and get the thing fixed. Thankfully! All three technicians were very courteous and professional. If they could improve the wait time/service window it would really be good.
